Welcome to the Red Buoy Retreat

We’ve achieved a home-away-from-home feel, a great base for your summer holiday or trip. Featuring red leather sofas, and vibrant ‘dopamine’ colours, it has been designed to add to your break, not just a place to sleep.

The Chalet accommodates up to six guests, with two double rooms and one twin. The Master bedroom has en en-suite, which was a new edition over the last few years, with a new main bathroom accompanying this.

We offer a full modern kitchen, with cooking facilities, while also being in a great location for local pubs and take-aways - don’t work too hard, you’re on holiday! There has been a new dining table put in which seats six, but don’t worry, the sofas are comfy enough for the takeaways too.

To the front, there is a large communal green space. This is brilliant for the safety of children, dogs and for enjoying the summer sun. We have a lovely bench, but also beach chairs and a windbreaker for sunbathing and a bit of privacy. This space is quiet and away from any moving vehicles, ideal for a relaxing holiday.

It is situated on a very clean and tidy holiday park. Electric is included within the stay price. There is lots of space for parking on site, close to the chalet. Electric car charging is available near the Holiday park entrance.

Hemsby beach is a 5 minute drive, 20 minute walk away. Its a lovely sandy beach, usually with an ice cream van at the entrance. There are arcades, coastal shops and small local food places. Would personally recommend the Lancon Arms Pub at Hemsby beach front - its a family and dog friendly pub but it cam get busy in the summer so you are advised to book.

Great Yarmouth is a 15/20 minute drive away with great areas for parking close to attractions. There is a shopping centre, main street, swimming pool and great fish and chips from the market!

There are arcades less than a 10 minute walk away from the chalet, with a local shop for everyday necessities as well. We are close to the Norfolk Broads, meaning lots of wildlife! Norwich is a 30 minute drive away, perfect for a day trip. There are bigger named shops in the centre with many locally owned cafes dotted across the city. There is always lots to do in Norwich!

Kitchen - full size fridge/freezer. Hob and oven. Microwave, toaster and kettle.

Open plan Lounge/dining Room off the kitchen - 3 seater sofa, 2 seater sofa, armchair, tv, dining table to seat 6.

Main double bedroom- wardrobe, drawers, USB sockets and en suite toilet.

Second double bedroom - drawers, USB sockets and tv.

Twin bedroom- wardrobe, drawers and USB socket. Shower room (step up into shower).

Timber slatted bench, and chairs for outside. There are portable fans and the Lounge ceiling fan can do warm or cooling. Heaters in all rooms. Hairdryer provided. Some games, dvd and video player.

Key safe box for keys. Call my mobile if help required during stay. Guest information pack in the black unit under the TV.

The chalet is on a very clean, tidy holiday park. Small swimming pool at the end of the street (Bermuda holiday park), better one in Sheringham. Local amusements, take-aways, cafes, pubs, local shops, beach all within walking distance.

Free parking on site, electric charging point near the site entrance at a separate cost. Buses available at the entrance to the site. The beach is a 20min walk and Hemsby about 20min walk too. Winterton is approx 1hr walk.

Up to two very well behaved dogs are welcome. No smoking or vaping inside the chalet please. Chalet to be left in a nice clean condition please. Bedding and towels provided (Beach towels not provided).
